All you could ever ask for

We are by way of law, experience as our submission to nature.
Rich conversation
Over good coffee
An abundance of
Colorful, harmonistic nature
Steady calmness
With a drip of new and
Surprising experiences
Quiet moments, alone
Balanced with memorable
Ones with friends, family
Closeness with chosen God(s)
Healthy, moderate and
Temporary escapism
That harmless, childish joy
Free-flowing time, plenty,
But certainly not an
Infinite amount
Independence
To know the universal truths
Like love and fear
Inside a strong heart
A proud death
Am I missing anything?
Love to all -

I can’t feel it spin,
Us going down the drain we’re in
Is it flat?
Does it bend?
Is it where we’re going,
Where we are
Or where we’ve been?
Can’t tell if it’s real,
Or something we pretend
Maybe it begins
Maybe it’s the end
Then again...
Dreaming

Two darkened marbles
A buried, signaled third comes to mind
Or it’s just been in hiding
Fragments of memories meld into imagined reveries
Or fears come to find me
Escape, stay held in a sandbox - at play
Lest I awaken myself
